If you want to find out how your site compares to the top 10 for a specific search term, then for £10 ($15) we will create a report which compares your site to the top 10 ranked sites. The report will analyse 21 different on-site factors and 6 different off-site factors and will contain specific advice on what you need to do to improve your ranking.

SEO Consulting

Consulting fees are £750 per day. Normally 1-2 days are enough to analyse your site and propose an effective customised SEO strategy.

On-site and Off-site Optimization

The cost of a search campaign is very dependent on many factors, in particular, how well your site is already optimized for on-site factors, how much competition there is for your main search terms and how high your website is currently ranking.

If you are in very niche market, and only want to optimize for 1 or 2 specific search terms, then the work involved is much less than a competitive niche or when you want to rank for a wider range of search terms. To get an idea of how competitive a niche is just have a look how many pages there are ranking for your main search term. You can see this when you do a search on Google - just look at Results 1-10 of ....

Pricing for PPC Campaign Management

Pay per click campaigns involve 2 costs.

1) The ad spend which you pay directly to the search engine
2) The agency fees to set up and manage campaigns.

We have a holistic approach to Pay per click Campaigns. We believe there is no point having a pay-per-click campaign if you cannot track whether your ads are converting into leads or sales. Our charges therefore include the cost of setting up tracking code on your web pages and monitoring conversion tracking in your weekly report.

Many PPC companies link their fees to your ad spend. This may not always be in your best interest because the agency can bid on high volume search terms which may generate a lot of clicks but are not necessarily the best for your business.

At SearchGap our fees are based on a fixed monthly fee based on the number of ads we need to set up and manage.

When we know which ads and keywords are converting, we can calculate your advertising cost per lead (or sale).

1In general, you will need one or more different ads for each type of product or service you offer, because the ad copy needs to be relevant to the keywords that people are using to search with, and also relevant to the page you are linking your ad to.
2The above charges apply to Google Adwords. For each additional search engine (Yahoo and MSN) which you want to run the campaign on we charge 75% of the above costs.
3We will need to install a piece of code on some of your web pages to track exactly which ads and keywords are generating the leads or sales. To do this we will need to have FTP access to your website, or to have the cooperation of your web developer. SearchGap provides website design services if needed.
